Productivity & Efficiency

Everyone has goals related to productivity and efficiency. One thing we know from studying groups of people is that no one wants to work harder than needed to achieve a given task (Hanaysha & Majid, 2018). We can be mindful of our own productivity and efficiency being mindful of what we do and why we do it. After that assessment, choices can be made of how to be more efficient to improve our practices.

One way in which we can improve our individual productivity and efficiency is by being aware of technological tools that make our jobs easier (Awotunde & Aregbeshola, 2024). This may include wizards for creating documents or AI tools that help you gather ideas for your next project. Did you know that some systems automatically will provide grades for digital assignments into the gradebook? This can be done by setting up certain parameters!

Other ways you can increase your productivity and efficiency is by exploring how you can automate your daily task using systems. We have access to the entire Microsoft Workplace set of tools, including systems that have no-code options for automation. The image below shows all the tools you currently have access to online. Be sure to explore and find ways to increase your productivity.
